Anxiety and Depression

Being on guard constantly is exhausting.

Fear and apprehension make your life miserable. No matter the activity (work, school, etc.), you never feel good enough.

Things might be going well for a while, but then, something triggers your feeling of anxiousness. Being constantly on edge makes it difficult to have meaningful relationships.

Worrying seems to be how you operate daily. Your life of constantly asking ‘what if’ keeps you awake at night.

If these feelings are persistent, you probably suffer from anxiety.

All those activities and people that used to bring you joy now fail to interest you. It used to be so easy, but now it feels impossible to get out of bed or do what you need to do to have a successful life.

There is this sense of sadness that you can’t shake. Hopelessness makes everything seem senseless. Even concentrating is problematic.

Tired best describes how you feel, making you feel like a sloth. You feel like your mood disappoints others, as though you are being a burden, leading to more shame and self-doubt.

The above are examples of depression.

Therapy can make a difference.

I know you want to be there for others, experience joy, and feel motivated, but your feelings keep you from feeling positive or doing things you used to do. Through therapy, we can help you process how you think and work to overcome anxiety and depression.

Therapy can help you understand why this is happening and can help you get on a path to feeling better.
You don’t have to suffer so much. Once we identify the underlying causes for your anxiety, depression, or both, I can teach you the skills to help you challenge negative feelings and beliefs. It can help you see the situation more clearly to know how to feel better and move forward meaningfully.

Don’t let your anxiety and depression stop you from doing things you want to do or feeling how you want to feel.
